Smog a Pescara: stop alle auto, ok alle caldaie ecologiche. L’amministrazione comunale annuncia un progetto per abbattere i livelli di inquinamento .
Smog a Pescara: stop alle auto , ok alle caldaie ecologiche. Per combattere l’inquinamento atmosferico in città l’Amministrazione comunale, oltre alle domeniche ecologiche in programma fino al 27 marzo, avvia anche un progetto che riguarda le caldaie. Gli impianti termici ,insieme al traffico veicolare, sono tra le principali cause dello smog nelle città . A Pescara ,come in altre aree metropolitane italiane le micropolveri continuano a far registrare valori elevati per due motivi: l’aumento del traffico e le condizioni atmosferiche che favoriscono l’incremento dell’inquinamento.Il sindaco Marco Alessandrini annuncia un progetto che prevede interventi sugli impianti termici negli edifici pubblici e del terziario e sull’illuminazione nelle scuole . Un progetto che sarà a costo zero per la collettività e che porterà alla sostituzione delle caldaie inquinanti. Iniziative anche per quanto riguarda la mobilità e l’uso di mezzi pubblici con il biglietto unico giornaliero e investimenti sulle piste ciclabili.
Il primo cittadino ricorda che ” ognuno deve fare un piccolo sacrificio di fronte alla abitudini ormai consolidate. non si può pensare che l’inquinamento sia di destra o di sinistra, bisogna riflettere sul problema e sugli effetti che provoca sulla salute pubblica e intervenire. Noi ci stiamo provando con tutti i mezzi possibili sperando che abbiano efficacia ma senza la collaborazione dei cittadini ogni progetto sarà vanificato o avrà scarso successo”.
